NERAIDA is an experimental short film based on personal research about the origin of fairies ("neraides" in Greek). People say that these creatures live only in fantasy and myth. But my explanation is that they were actually women who ran away from society - because of pressure and inequality - to live free, close to nature. The word "neraida" contains the words water, air, and earth ("nero" or "ýdo̱r", "aēr" and "dá" in Greek refer to these elements), representing the embodiment of Mother Nature herself.
