Sometimes I dream of nothingness an empty landscape a pain that has ended double - winged horse  of oblivion i ride and i ride amongst the heaviest shadows never had the ring I never wore it they chase me though "Again the Dark ones have found you" Where to go? Aulūs   ή Ολούς ήταν η αρχαία πόλη της Μινωικής Κρήτης που γνώρισε μεγάλη άνθιση και βυθίστηκε ύστερα από σεισμό ή παλιρροιακό κύμα. Είναι γνωστή και ως "η βυθισμένη πόλη" και τις μέρες χωρίς άνεμο μπορεί να δει κανείς κάτω απ' το νερό τα αρχαία ερείπια. Πολύ συχνά έπαιρνα το ποδήλατο και πήγαινα στους μύλους, στην τωρινή Ελούντα. Το τοπίο μου θύμιζε καλοκαίρια των παιδικών μου χρόνων και - παραδόξως - μια ταινία του Ντίνου Δημόπουλου, "Τα Δελφινάκια του Αμβρακικού". Βλέπω τις Αλυκές και τα βυθισμένα τείχη, τις πέτρες που άλλοτε ήταν σπίτια και ναοί και δρόμοι. Πολλά ξεπροβάλλουν έξω απ' το νερό και μπορείς να περπατήσεις πάνω τους.  Αφήνω τα χέρια και τα ανοίγω στο πλάι σα να πετάω. Το ποδήλατο τρέχει πάνω στον καλοκαιρινό δρόμο. Ζεστός αέρας στο πρόσωπό μου. Είμαι ευτυχισμένη. Είμαι χαρούμενη. Γελάω. Τα παιδάκια με κοιτάνε και ξέρω ότι τους έχω χαρίσει μιαν ανάμνηση. Γιατί θυμόμαστε πάντα όλα τα παράξενα και μαγικά. "Μπαμπά, κοίτα! Η κοπέλα πετάει πάν...

  "Μη φοβάσαι", λέει η φωνή. Αχαρτογράφητα νερά. Μικροί έρωτες κ' ελεγείες. Ελεγεία στη θλίψη της Νιότης. Δημήτρης Λάγιος. Ένας καθαρός ακόμα που πέθανε. Άλλους τους πήρε μιαν αρρώστια, άλλοι αυτοκτόνησαν, άλλοι εξορίστηκαν για πάντα. Κρατάω με νύχια και με δόντια το θυμό και την οργή μου για όλα όσα βλέπω γύρω μου. Για όλα όσα νιώθω να με κατακλύζουν.  Κρατιέμαι από μιαν ανάμνηση που έρχεται όταν νιώθω πως πέφτω, πως δεν αντέχω πιο πέρα. Είναι πρωί και ξυπνάω στην Αγκαλιά Του. Καλημέρα αγάπη μου, μου λέει και μου χαϊδεύει το πρόσωπο, τα μαλλιά. Το σώμα του, τα μάτια του, η καρδιά του - όλα είναι ζεστά. Στάζουν Αγάπη, Επιθυμία, Ομορφιά. Είναι τόσο δυνατή αυτή η ανάμνηση που μέσα στο λιοπύρι και στην κούραση - Άνω Χώρι - Κάτω Χώρι - και δωσ'του το ποδήλατο στην ανηφόρα στα χέρια και ξύπνημα 5 το πρωί και ξανά πίσω βράδυ και κανένας - ω, κανένας - να μην καταλαβαίνει, παρά μόνο να θέλουν όλοι, άντρες και γυναίκες να με ξεσκίσουν, να μην υπάρχω, να μη ζω, γιατί το φως π...
