Νόστος / Nostos
Nostos
~Thoughts on a rainy evening~
One minute conceptual poetry in the notion of nostos, nature, future and dreams.
The word nostalgia is learned formation of a Greek compound, consisting of νόστος
(nóstos), meaning "homecoming", a Homeric word, and ἄλγος (álgos), meaning "pain"
or "ache", and was coined by a 17th-century medical student to describe the anxieties
displayed by Swiss mercenaries fighting away from home. Described as a medical
condition—a form of melancholy—in the Early Modern period, it became an important
trope in Romanticism.
Lyrics
Νοσταλγία
Nóstos
Is the feeling that sailors get while they travel away from home
My home is love
My home is nature
My home is freedom
Futura Natura
Is the place full of dreams that came true
One day I will brake the glass
One day I will fly above the crystal forest
Νοσταλγία
Nóstos
Is the feeling that sailors get while they travel away from home
Futura Natura
Is the place full of dreams that came true
